The electro funk trio from Hamburg, Germany has Hermann Süß on trumpet, flugelhorn, trombone and French horn, Christian Ribas (A3XX) on guitar and Guy Saldanha on sampler. Saldanha mixes dusty beats, cut-up bass samples and pitched vocals to create 3-D backdrops for Süß's elaborate lines. Their self-titled album starts with a heavy footed funk, moves on to a bouncy C64 tune, the hip-hop inspired title track and ends in a slow-motion haunted house funk.
