"The lucky rabbit explores the sound-making abilities of instruments to unprecedented levels. The earlier recordings were described by some as sketchy. Characteristically the lucky rabbit agreed and in line with its refusal to be satisfied by surface considerations pursued a vigorous examination of the connections between lucky rabbit music and mark-making. The lucky rabbit feels the field recordings in Japan are faithful to the shared but different interpretations current in London and Tokyo. The final session shows the lucky rabbit's development through mutual isolation and hints at the further flowerings of Ross and Seymour's new audio-visual trio The World Book with John Lely. With Utah Kawasaki, computer, Ami Yoshida, voice and Tetsuro Yasunaga, computer." (label info)
