"To celebrate the rerelease of the three classic to rococo rot records on City Slang between 1997 and 2001, we have asked two friends and fans to rework their favourite tracks of these albums. Four Tets Kieran Hebden chose the brooding minimal collage "He Loves Me" from the bands 1997 archetypal release "Veiculo" and, like a prism in singular beam of light, his remix reveals the songs true glistening content. Mute label founder and longtime To Rococo Rot afficionado Daniel Miller teamed up with London based producer Gareth Jones to give "Cars", from the bands impeccable second album "The Amateur View" a compassionate modification into a ... well, lets call it a Krautrock Disco Truck."
