TUCK TUCK TUCK - TUCK TUCK TUCK (LP - USED m-/m-)

"This first release consists of two distinctly different sides recorded in 2001 at home on a tascam 4 track. The first is a group of somber acoustic ditties, while the second is a side long, low-fi noise exploration. What we endearingly refer to as â€othe quiet side. could be understood as a further exploration of the classic singer-songwriter with their acoustic guitar strumming quietly in their room. The songs come off as raw and innocent. The voice is quiet, stark, forlorn and rambles freely. What we like to call the loud side works in a very similar way to the quiet side, in that it operates in a naive and raw manner, it is just that here the influence is more in the vein of early noise artists such as Throbbing Gristle. The sounds and instruments weave in and out, a pattern will arise and be followed out, only to be crossed by another and another and another. The sounds range from effected guitar to organ to bleeping electronic noises, to vocal shrieks to banging on the walls. Though the two sides are drastically different, both share an overall feeling or emotion. Edition of 300, handmade covers." (label info)
