Hauch Records is a Düsseldorf label for mostly abstract, ambient, drone, electronica, experimental and techno music. Many of the releases are debut albums or are among an artist's first albums. Named after the German word "Hauch", which means "breath". In every history of a language, there were first concrete terms, which subsequently received abstract meanings in addition. In many languages the abstract meaning to "breath" is the term "soul". The human soul is the phenomenon in which every kind of music converges.
