Florian Hecker works largely with synthetic sound in performance, installation and publications dealing with specific compositional developments of post-war modernity, electroacoustic music as well as other, non-musical disciplines. Rearranged Playlist as Auditory Scene Synthesis to be performed live at Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen is Florian Hecker's artistic contribution to the recent group exhibition Zum Beispiel “Les Immatériaux” referencing the famous historical exposition Les Immatériaux (1985), then curated by French philosopher Jean-François Lyotard at Centre George Pompidou.
