"Argentinian label OM Discos' latest release, "Las Sales Fundentes", offers a retrospective of compositions by Alan Courtis, founder member of Reynols. The double cd contains a selection of pieces composed by the artist throughout the last decade (1996- 2006). Courtis' work includes over one hundred albums published by labels from Japan, Europe, USA and Latin America. He has toured worldwide and collaborated with artists Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth), Yoshimi & Yamamoto (Boredoms), Damo Suzuki (Can), KK Null, Eddie Prévost (AMM), Rick Bishop (Sun City Girls), Pauline Oliveros, Kawabata Makoto (Acid Mothers Temple), Masonna, Mats Gustafsson, Tom Carter (Charalambides), Avarus, Toshimaru Nakamura, Tetuzi Akiyama, Rudolf Eb.Er, Kouhei, Astro (CCCC), Nihilist Spasm Band and Lasse Marhaug, among others. This new cd compiles previously unreleased material along with a selection of works published in Germany, UK, Japan, Finland, Ukraine, Belgium, Norway and USA.
