HOLLINGER, BERNHARD - 1987 (LP)

1987 is Bernhard Hollinger's debut album as a bandleader, bassist and composer. Symbolizing a highly personal transformative process which has lasted several years, this album tells the story of the obstacles and twists that were encountered and eventually have morphed throughout time into its final form. For this journey Bernhard surrounded himself with an international group of highly talented musicians, both emerging and established, including Teis Semey, Grammy Nominated guitarist Ashton Sellars, August Baronas, Matthias van de Brande, as well as New Orleans-based Larry Sieberth and Grammy Nominated trumpeter Ashlin Parker.
