"Silent GeneratorT opens with a live recording from 28. November 2025, documenting my performance during Moo Festival @ ANU, Ahmedabad, India. Accompanied by occasional construction works nearby. When someone asked me "what exactly does this mean?", I explained that it focused on timbre, texture, rejects traditional use of melody and avoids rhythmic structures. However a woman in the audience pointed out the rhythmic cycles she heard in the crackling sounds during the second half of the set. Unfortunately I no longer remember the exact counting, but she interpreted my noise improvisation through the additive rhythmic logic of Indian tala traditions. She even rephrased some rhythms from memory... I will never forget that night. The B-side "lost practices of residual humming" was assembled from recordings gathered between several places I visited throughout 2025, of which most of the material also appears in the live set. It combines various recording and editing techniques. I deliberately avoided excessive distortion. Most of the time I pumped up the gain and allowed the source material to reveal its own texture or let the pre-amps do the work." (label info)
