Between noise, sound art, and experimental pop, every movement of the needles, every turn of the spools, reveals surprising new tonal colors. Sharper Than A Needle was initiated by Stephanie Müller and Klaus Erika Dietl, known for projects such as SEWICIDE, beißpony (ChicksOnSpeed Records, RagRec, Rheinschallplatten), and the international collective ALLIGATOR GOZAIMASU. Their artistic practice is closely connected to queer-feminist discourses, in which textile work is reimagined as a political, aesthetic, and social tool.
