As Mikael Strömberg wrote in Aftonbladet, "Composer Hans Holewa's music can be stern and demanding, and sometimes beatifically simple. Popular he is never likely to be, because Holewa couldn't care less what you think of him. Un-trendy and overtaken by the 'latest' in modernism, he occupied a position which is only just beginning to receive the attention it deserves.
