"Sound and Video artist John Grzinich has been working under the name 'jgrzinich' since 1995. He has performed and worked extensively throughout Europe and the US. His sound compositions have been published internationally on such labels as Staalplaat (NL), erewhon (BE), Intransitive Recordings (US), Orogenetics (US), Elevator Bath (US), Pale-Disc (JP), Digital Narcis (JP). These works consist of collaborations with mnortham, Seth Nehil and Frequency Curtain (Josh Ronsen, Rick Reed, jgrzinich). Since 1994 jgrzinich has explored various approaches to sound generation, recording and production. His techniques range from the construction of original instrument devices and the capturing of acoustic phenomenon through environmental field recordings to digital multi-tracking and manipulation.
