"The Sheets Are Soaked" is the second LP by the Melted Men, and was recorded in 1996. This beautiful record was pressed on white vinyl, with 3 different silkscreen cover designs. It has a very different sound than the Melted Men in 2007. There are some stunning live improvisations, and alot of random, "southern-style" plunderphonics. At times, this record is purposefully derivative and repetitive, but it is always captivating. It sounds something like a surreal mix of 1960s AM radio operated by lunatic cavemen, who create a kind of warped "funk" music." (label info)
