MOUNTAINEERS - LIVE AT REITHALLE BERN 1998 (7")

"The Mountaineers" is a short term project that was founded in 1998 by 3 musicians playing together in various other projects, such as Sprawl, Werther/Wittwer, 16-17. This music comes from a very rare live performance in the Reithalle Bern. This 8:52 minutes piece is the only existing document of the explosive formation, in which the guitarist and electronic musician Stephan Wittwer, who sadly died recently, also played. Stephan was very fond of this project and always wanted to revive it, but unfortunately it never happened. We have decided to release this recording as number 000 of our live series in memory of Stephan." (label info)
