"Naadyn was found in 2007 by Nadine Platzek. First she released two digital album under the moniker "Tape3000". But in 2011 the sound has changed. The songs are full of echos and reverb, the voice is spherical, mystical and mysterious. Nadine felt like to close a cheapter and give her project a new name: "Naadyn". She describes her music as a mix between synth pop and shoegaze. Her influences are planets, alien worlds, magical places, authors like Carl Sagan (Cosmos) or Ray Bradbury (The Martian Chronicles). Cosmic influences can also be found throughout her artwork. Nadine works with mirrors, kaleidoscopes and prisms, to let her photos and videos look as blurry and unsharp like her voice floats through time and space." (label info) back in stock
