PARTICLES - GARZWEILER (LP)

"Particals is a trio of visual and sound artists Justine Grillet, Nina-Joy Thielemans and model, musician and DJ Karina Zharmukhambetova. All based and well embedded in the Antwerp freakscene since some years now. Last year, the trio visited a Lignite Mine in Tagebau Garzweiler in Germany, where they explored the various sound qualities of this brown coal mine. This excurtion led to a series of live gigs and ultimately to this one sided record. One could say it surprisingly sounds a little like early TG or other industrial sound classics. In essence that is exactly what this is, killer industrial music with an artschool sensitivity to sounds only dogs can hear." (label info)
