AFIF, SAADANE - LYRICS: BEST OF (MCD)

"'Best of' is an transcription of several works of art of Saâdane Afif produced in different exhibition spaces all over France. First, the artist commissioned lyrics to Maxime Matray, in connection with every exhibited works of art, while keeping the original titles and providing personal interpretations of each work. These texts have been passed on to Tante Hortense / Eddy Godeberge who created these eight music pieces. Each CD comes with a 8-page booklet with all the lyrics and has been designed by Saâdane Afif." (label info)
