"Fixing Messages is Seon Ga's debut EP inspired by the WWI message-carrying pigeons. It is an aural keepsake that immerses the listener in unearthed synthesis, tape manipulation and found sounds. Seon Ga is the duo project between producers Yu Hein and thruoutin. Deriving from the Cantonese term for homing pigeons, the name embodies the creative process while making this EP. They used WeChat to send musical ideas back and forth, just like how WWI soldiers relied on carrier pigeons to exchange messages across the battlefield, encapsulating the timeless essence of communication."
