REICH, STEVE - DRUMMING; MUSIC FOR MALLET INSTRUMENTS, VOICES AND ORGAN; SIX PIANOS (ORIGINAL SOURCE) (3LP-BOX)

To mark composer Steve Reich's 90th birthday on October 3, 2026, DG is releasing a deluxe, hand-numbered, limited "Original Source" edition of his groundbreaking 1974 recording of *Drumming*, alongside two other early works. The set is presented in the original LP format with authentic packaging and includes Reich's original liner notes-featuring numerous photos from the recording sessions-as well as an in-depth article incorporating Reich's original correspondence with his DG producer. To ensure the highest possible sound quality, the recordings have been remastered and cut from the original 4-track tapes for the first time. This limited, numbered release is pressed on 180g vinyl and presented in a deluxe 3-LP box set featuring the original cover art; it also includes additional photos and facsimiles of the original recording logs and tape boxes.
