"Tamborim Dream is the result of a seven-hour jam session in "Vivian's Bedroom" - an exhibition room with works by the artist Vivian Suter at Week-End Fest 2023. The session, led by Cologne-based artist Thomas Meckel, was based on a modified version of the Brazilian tamborim drum, which - connected to a specially developed music computer - records harmonic sequences and (poly)rhythms them in a new way."
