WOLFRAM WIRE - STROM (LP)

back in stock, very last copies. Radio Sessions 2008-2010. Limited edition of 100x copies. "This first LP release by Wolfram Wire combines session tracks recorded for British Internet Radios. It contains the track "Armitage Shanks" which made it to No. 32 in 2008?s "Festive Fifty" on Dandelion Radio. Wolfram Wire was formed in 2006. Heavily influenced by electronic band Broadcast from Birmingham, UK, Wolfram Wire joined them for improvising sessions in 2006 and 2009. From these sessions a CD-R album called "Wiesenmusik" was mixed by James Cargill in 2007. First official release was the 7" EP "Bookshelf" (Drahtwald 1) with Leeds-based singer and artist Alisia Casper, in 2009. Wolfram Wire worked with former Broadcast-member Roj Stevens for his solo-album "The Transactional Dharma of Roj" and the single "The Salt Path" for Ghost Box. Other collaborations included Phil Jenkins (drummer for Broadcast on Haha Sound), and East London-based proto-hauntologist Position Normal. The Broadcast/Wolfram Wire ? track "Verstehen 1,8; 3.296.2.1" (after a text by Ludwig Wittgenstein) was part of the 5th anniversary compilation album by Dandelion Radio." (label info)
