ONO, YOKO - SEASONS OF GLASS (CD)

"To mark the 45th anniversary of its release, Secretly Canadian is reissuing Yoko Ono's groundbreaking 1981 album *Season of Glass* in an expanded CD version and, for the first time in over 45 years, on vinyl, complete with an expanded and redesigned cover. The hit single 'Walking on Thin Ice' is one of three bonus tracks on the CD. 'Season of Glass', which ranks among Pitchfork's Top 200 albums of the 1980s, was released in June 1981, just seven months after the senseless murder of Ono's husband and creative partner, John Lennon. Filled with songs about love, loss, anger and fear, the album starkly reflected Ono's experiences, creating a kind of counterpart to the 'Primal Scream' albums by Ono and Lennon's Plastic Ono Band from 1970 ."
